Students from BSL’s Master in International Business had a chance to visit the factory of Swiss luxury watchmaker Hublot in Nyon, Switzerland, and witness the production process from A to Z. During their visit, the students learned about the company history, strategic partnerships, and materials used in making Hublot’s watches. They also got familiar with Hublot’s Magic Gold: gold, made and certified to be scratch-resistant. Magic Gold was developed in collaboration with the Swiss Federal Institute of Technology (EPFL) and together they created the hardest gold in the world.

Hublot’s distinctive designs and unique innovations set it apart from traditional watchmakers. Not coincidentally, Hublot says it represents the Art of Fusion in watches, combining centuries-old craftsmanship and handwork with the latest materials, fabrication techniques, and forms.

BSL would like to thank Hublot for the great opportunity to take a glance at their factory and we look forward to visiting again in the future.
